Firefox 3.1

Firefox as known open source browser has released the third beta of Firefox 3.1, which boasts improved performance, web compatibility and speed. Firefox get new features include a Private Browsing Mode, including the ability to 'Forget This Site' from the History sidebar, and support for new web technologies, such as W3C Geolocation API and JavaScript query selectors.

Mozilla asked for feedback from users on the improved stability through the new TraceMonkey JavaScript, and on the improved Gecko layout that gives faster content rendering.
